I am curious if anyone has an SLI system up and running? If so, what mobo and video cards are they using? Did you see a huge performance increase vs your old system?
I keep reading in other FS/FT Forums that alot of people are selling off their nVidia nForce4-SLI mobo's and I am curious as to why?

IMO, SLI isn't really worth it because it doesn't work with all the games. The drivers have to support the games.

A single next generation card will out perform two current generation cards in SLI.

SLI draws alot of power and puts out a lot of heat into the case which is not really that big a problem....but still...

So I'm not a big fan of it.

I think vincent malloy has a 6800ultra sli rig with an fx55 up and running. The rich guy...I think he broke 10,000 in 05.

I'm 99.999999% sure they will work with all current boards.

I think the new cards are coming in summer, but I'm not sure.

There's no reason for furture cards to not work in current PCIe setups.
