for socket 939, pretty much the best board i found was the msi k8n neo2 platinum, i wanted a board based on the nforce 3 ultra chipset, and thats the only socket 939 board i found, asus, abit didn have any. my boards being RMA'd right now though, my psu died and took it with it.

the abit av8 i thinks its called is supposed to be good too. i didn buy it cuz i dont like via chipsets..well just via in general, and it requires a psu putting out 24amps on the 12v rail

I like the Abit AV8 as well providing that your PSU is up to the task.

Otherwise the MSI board stlouis mentioned is not bad either.
