Personally, I'm really tired of chicks having tatoos. When it was the odd one it didn't bother me. But now its gotta be something like 70%. So much for being a rebel. Nothin rebelious about doing what everyone else does. All I think is trash when I look at them now.

if they are not doing it for your benefit then you being sick of it is not likely to have an earthshattering impact on their furture choice of bodyart or pureskin :)
Well... nay if they have alot, but yay if they only have one or two and they arent super big.

I've always thought the little butterfly tattoos just below the waist line (right in that little indention from the hip bones) were really sexy. I'm not into a lot of body art on chicks, but little ones in "forbidden" areas like that, I find to be right sexy. Cleavage tattoos are just nasty, though.
I also like some of the tattoos that chicks have on their lower backs.

Well I can judge, for myself that is. I'm not really trying to stop them, I usually encourage them because I kind of consider it a visual warning. If a chick has a tat I know that she does weird painful trashy things occasionally, so don't get hooked up on her. So if a buddies girl cheats or something and she has a tat, I tell em don't cry to me, the warning was there for you to see, and you ignored it. Of couse its not a hundred percent. What scares me is the girls out there that should have them but don't.

That is really prejudice, I can personally vouch for some girls who have tattoos that aren't what society dictates as trash. I can also vouch that there are girls who dress and look what society dictates as appropriate and have worse 'habits'. You should try to understand the people past their looks.

Well I would agree with you with regard to looks. But this isn't looks this is a personal expression. And a person should be judged by what they express shouldn't they. I mean without being to harsh a tatoo is weird, painful and trashy. It certainly ain't classy. I mean if someone wants to behave like a stereotype then there is nothing wrong with treating them accordingly. Unless its halloween of course. If you wear a KKK uniform youll get treated a certain way. And you should be in my opinion. I'm sure you can pick out exceptions, but I bet you would have a hard time saying that what I said wasn't true most of the time. There are no absolutes in social issues which is why I said its not 100%. Prejudice implies judging someone without evidence of character. But what I'm saying is that a tat is evidence of character.

Give me a break! :p Not to deny we judge by looks, but sometimes alot of people would be suprised that the most menacing looking people happen to be the nicest. I grew up in a liberal enviroment dominated by bikers and loud music, what alot of people would call bad/out of taste. To me it's just something people were, they weren't accepted into regular society so they formed their own. To me, someone (or a girl in this instance) with tattoos is no different than a girl that dresses in vogue and wears expensive jewelry.
I just don't agree with the idea that because a woman wears tattoos means she should be judged into being a bad person, when it's not the case. Everyone should take each other on a person to person basis as much as possible, not the opposite.
Well i understand your point SleezyRevolution (perfedt name for this) but I'm not sure you really get mine. I didn't say redneck, thats a different connotation altogether. And I didn't say all. I find this happens a lot. When you make a reasonable general conclusion that is most often true, someone comes along and because they can think of an exception they think it makes the entire way of thinking false. Its like a will not to think about the issue. If I said that dogs have four legs but you know of one with three, would you say I am wrong? I mean what your suggesting is that there is no relationship between how someone presents themselves and how they behave, so take everyone on a person to person basis. And you have every right to your opinion. However, my point of view is that how someone presents themselves betrays what they believe is cool or preferable. And so if a girl wants to make herself look like she is from a part of society that is known for biker sluts then why should I not believe that she will behave in accordance with her tastes. And if I don't find girls like that preferable (and who would unless they were looking for just a quick lay, not that theres anything wrong with that, as long as you bag it) then im gonna make a judgement.
I do agree with you though that there are a few that play the opposite thing. Usually its a really soft guy who tryes to look tough to avoid getting beat on. Or girls who are really actually really uptight who try and look like a slut so they still get some attention. But I think they really just prove my point.

right on sleezyrevolution. tattoos are great, I have 2 myself so far and plan on getting more. as far as women with tattoos, I've seen girls with only one tat and it looks terrible, and a very good friend of mine has more than I can count, a couple in the "naughty" places, on her they're all very classy, as weird as that sounds, it just looks good, it deffintly depends on the girl and the tat, if its something like a utterfly that everyone has than I think its blah, but when they're original than i think its awsome

When I say trashy, I guess it comes from trailer trash but I kinda mean it like the opposite of classy. I could say pig, instead of trash, but I like to save that one for special girls who really earn it. But ya I kinda think of someone in London as the original trashy. You know some drunk kokney tart. We could use skank, tart, slut, cooze, trash, ho interchangeably. Maybe we should come up with all the terms we can think of and choose the best one? I had to spell kokney like that cause otherwise it was all asterisks, its not even a swear word.....what the hell, why are swear words stopped in free for all!

Well actually, thats a really interesting point. Its not a common practice and I never thought of that. But really I don't think that most people would consider that a tat in any real way, its like permanent eyeliner really. If someone said check out my tat and then said its my eyeliner I think that that would be thought of differently. Although they are technically the same. Sort of like how a tomato is technically a fruit but we think of it as a vegetable. Eyeliner seeks to mimic the effect of what a heathy or better looking persons eye lashes look like were as a regular tatoo doesn't. They look more like a bruise, from any distance other than close up. I wouldn't include eyeliner tats in my little theory. Well anyways thats my thoughts on it. Oh ya both sailor chicks and roses on bums, but to me the sailor chicks worse.

Not really, mainly cause i'm straight, so it really doesn't matter to me. However not to dodge the question I think tatoos are masculin in nature and don't look so bad on guys in general. I think of it in the same way as steroids. I wouldn't do them but they are really bad when a girl does them. They look like men. Although I've had quite a few friends who have had tats and they were all stupid in my opinion. One guy has a tat of a pitbull lifting a barbell...lol. But the guy is an idiot so maybe it is a good personal expression. Besides the standards we apply to men sexually are different since most guys would be bigtime sluts if they had the opportunities women have.

I agree with everybody above, all true points were made, But this is my opinion, women make these choices in their life as they live them. The type of person they are is always changing. Its natures way.
Sweet innocent girls with or with out a tattoo had a get down and freaky period in her life at one time or another that nobody will ever know about, so the people who make a difference in her life will not see her in a different way. For the freaky woman, they are not like guy’s who have to post it on a billboard for all to see what they did. Woman have no ego, their self-contentment of knowing they are enjoying them self’s is good enough, so you will never see that side of a clean girl.
Girls do both, keep clean and live the good life being pure, but if the day ever calls on her to get down and freaky, watch out! I believe your girl will go that route if you don't read the signs..... :eek:

I'll toss in my two cents. I think often times a tasteful tattoo on a girl can be ok, but generally, judging by the ones Ive seen and girls Ive talked to, they did it not because they wanted it to be tasteful but because it was a little bit of rebellion. Ive seen some stupid tats on girls stuff like bulldogs and chickens. If it's a tasteful design or an image in certain places on the body they dont bother me, but honestly on females I only like tats between the shoulders or on the lower back. No butt, tit, or... tats.

I too agree that on the inner part of the thigh up high where a bathing bottom just might hide it, in the front between the side of the body and the inner crotch, where the leg bends at the torso, if its done right.
I know of one young girl who just got a tat on her lower back, from a distance it looks so stupid, thats not cool when you can't make it out on what it is. and who ever did it should not do tats any more. But when she put one on the top of her foot that went too far, it can't look any more stupid, I think she got that one just to get it. I would never feel comfortable being seen with this girl. And she is so beautiful!! a pure knock out!! Thats my old school way.
I don't like it when your looking at this big honking blob of color on a girl that you have to keep looking at it for two minutes just to understand what it is. :rolleyes:

All that was left was a faded tatoo. Looked even worse. I used to bug her and tell her that that trash goes straight to the bone. She was a whore too, kind of girl that sleeps with her partners in real estate to get ahead. And profs for marks etc.

Oh yeah, I didn't mention, this one girl I use to date when I was 19 years old had a tat of a butterfly the size of a large silver dollar removed with the laser off the top of her shoulder. Because it was 18 years after I use to date her that I ran into her, and she showed me, this was one of the few tats I liked. I don't mind tats at all, as long as their not on me.
But WOW!! The top of her shoulder looked ugly after several laser treatments, I wonder if it ever healed better?? that day she said she needed one more laser treatment. All I seen was light blurred colors.
I told her she made it worse and should of left it alone. But she told me that she felt uncomfortable with it, felt like she gave the impression of a trashy punky tough lady, and noticed people would not be as warm to her when she would wear an outfit with her shoulders exposed bare.
People sure change all the time. I'm not sure why they don't care for people with tats? I give everybody I first meet a fair chance to make a normal impression. Then I take it from there, I put them into two classes, idiot's or okay to talk with. If they get offended they can play the tat card all they want, or what ever card they want to play, what ever makes them feel better for being rejected in today's world. :p

i have a dragon on my left chest that i designed myself. and no..... they're not overdo. it's just a simple dragon symbol. :)
my favorite places for chicks to have tattoos are lower back, lower stomach, and lower anckle. this one chick who goes to the same gym as i do has the hottest tattoo on her lower stomach, some kind of phoenix, couldn't really tell without pulling her pants down, ...... maybe one day. ! :D

As far as a tat making a girl look hotter, I'd say its just additional eye candy on an already hot girl, who walks right, and looks nice, and can say hi.
When a woman can carry a normal conversation, and be normal for once, she don't need a tat to look hot, she can also have that left over egg on her face and I'd think that was hot if her conversations were stimulating.

Ya know, I seen girls that may have one tat here or there, and on her lower back, and that is okay, it can be hidden against the people who discriminate against them, you would be surprised of the people who judge you for what your wearing, I think they suck ass anyway. But all in all thats not too bad if they only have one, maybe two, small ones, and in a sexy way.
Even tho I don't mind them I won't get one because I would get tired of them very fast.
There are so many clinic out there that are doing "several tat removals every day" as much as 15 people every day, and its the same old story, the people want them removed because they think it looks stupid, they had it done in a time in there lilfe when they thought they knew it all and was so foolish to of had it done so tastless. They feel like its something a child would be wearing now and not them so they want it off. This is true, go searching for these places, there out there, its this new technic that wears away the layers of ink and not the skin, its a form of sometype of very painful removal of the color, they say color red it the hardest to remove, the more color the more pain involved.
I can't help associate girls who have tats all over the place, I mean all over!! you can place them with the bar flies, alcoholics, ************************gies, and no wheres near normal, not something I'd bring home to meet the family. I can name off three of them right now, so the girls who don't agree with me I'm not talking about you, okay? :)
i'd get a tatto but unfortunately the same tatto that i thought was cool 5 years ago has evolved quite a bit, and now the one i'd like is way cooler, but who knows in 5 years maybe i'll have a better one... god damn its like hardware.
Well, here are the possibilities best as I can see, either she is/was stupid, or trashy, or has bad taste, or is desperate for attention, or all/some of the above. The beauty of the situation is there are plenty of stupid, trashy, desperate guys with bad taste. I mean its not the be all or end all or anything but I can't think of a single example of a girl I've seen with a tatoo (no matter how hot) that wouldn't have looked better without it. So to me its always a negative they have to overcome. I just took all the stock badging off my car and the factory pinstriping as well. Why because it looked to pimped out to me. But for gods sake, don't pimp out my biatch!!!

Hmmm... I AM a brit (thank god) and we do get a LOT of cute young girls with tatoos here, but it would seem that Brit women are a bit more tasteful about it here.
The majority of tatoos you see on girls here are on the small of their back, shoulders or ankles (the ones you see) but they are normally quite small or tasteful.
I did once meet a girl who had a little playboy bunny tatoo'd right at the bottom of her coxix, so the only time I ever saw it was when she was bent over and I was Counting the moles

But seriously folks, tatoos are there to be looked at. It's like buying designer gear - you do it because it looks good. But then, you are surrendering to societies opinion of your appearance!

My girlfriend doesn't have any tatoos, but she *DID* have a belly ring (convinced her to take it out and let it heal) I really don't like them as well.
She's also had both nipples pierced. One was done badly (the nipple is a bit f**ked up - she'll never breast feed on that side) and she let it heal but the other one she still has (trying to convince her to shed that one as well)
Tatoos, fine but I think piercings are just dumb! Did you know that if you get your tounge pierced it damages your teeth slowly over the course of years (from banging against them) and can cause all your teeth to fall out in later life?
Between that bit of info and my g/f's right nipple I really don't see the point of piercings... yuck. :(
