I am struggling on making a decision between these two i have read that they both have their share of issues with audio. The DFI is supposed to be an amazing overclocking (of course i mean its a lanparty board) but it is also said to have a lot of bios problems. The Asus is supposed to be a weak oc'er but have no real problems other than that except for audio.

What do i do...... :D

do you want to overclock or not, if not, the asus should be a rock solid board to build a system on, if you really want to overclock, well tehn dfi is the way to go

DFI? BIOS problems? Never experienced any. (Except that there was something weird with the last version where I had to change VID to something other than auto to change my vdimm.) Apart from that everything is better than good.

ASUS has it's fair share of problems along with the fact that it is a poor oc'er so I wouldn't go there :p

I haven't used DFI's audio (on my old Audigy currently) so I don't know what to make of it.

All in all, I would go DFI because it has just been excellent for me.

the only onboard audio ever worth using died a long time ago now, nvidia really should bring back soundstorm

Hehe, not if it brings up the costs. Plus, as good as soundstorm was, good sound cards are still better. :p

The Asus isn't a bad ocer. I've had no problems with oc. It's easy to do it too. It's just that DFI's board kicks the sh1t out of the Asus board anyways.

Asus did and may still have some BIOS problems, but my board seems pretty darn stable right now. Both are great boards, but I think the DFI one beats the Asus cuz of the mobo layout and ocing features. I'm kicking myself in the ass for not waiting 2 more months. :(
