Hi,
I'm running an ASUS P48SX-x mobo and just started getting a Hardware Monitor error this morning after a reboot.
I checked it out in the BIOS and found the +3.3v bouncing around 3.61v+
I don't really know the first thing about voltages and motherboards so I'm really looking for any advice on what the heck to do now.
Ignore it?
Buy a new power supply?
Kick it?
Any advice is appreciated!
Thanks,

Hey peppertech, welcome to PCStats!!! :D
I definitely would not ignore it because a faulty PSU can fry a lot of expensive hardware. I recommend you get a quality PSU from either Antec or Enermax. A good PSU is worth the investment because it provides reliable power to all your components. A good PSU is also a must if you ever want to overclock your system. I've used PSUs from both Antec and Enermax and they have given me rock solid voltages on all my rails. Why not use this opportunity as an excuse to get a good PSU, eh? :D

You can always count on very good advice from Master Ginsu, but he never mentions Vantec ions series. Maybe I should send him one for his birthday. ;)

Try the number three method. It'll grant you new PC after you show your parents your System unit with a big hole on the side of it. :D
Joke aside, get a new Power Supply, and if your pocket are full with $$$$, get a PC Power & Cooling Power Supply. Undoubtly the best and Most expensive power supply out there. Not good looking though :(

Enermax Whisper? Its not that good............ not that efficient, but the voltage railing are stable........
And here in Malaysia many people start to despise Enermax because they say the quality had dropped a lot year after year................
