First, I just wanted to comment that the walkthrough for the slipstreamed XP instal is well done.
Second, I am having trouble with my RAID/SATA driver. I am getting an error message when the cd is installing the drivers. The error message tells me that the "driver name" refrenced by [SourceDisksFiles] in the .INF file is corrupt or missing. At no point did I even open the driver .inf file. I tried this process from start to finish 5 different times with 4 versions of the driver. The BIOS definately recognizes the RAID array. Since I am receiving the same error message each time, I am wondering if I am interpreting the instructions in the walkthrough wrong.
In step 8 "
Open a command prompt ('start\run' then type 'cmd) then type:
Makecab (your drive letter):\bootcd\working\$OEM$\$1\drivers\(your RAID\SATA driver folder)\(the .sys driver filename you used in the text files above).sys (space) (yourdriveletter):\bootcd\working\i386\(.sys driver filename again).sy_"
I get the same result...100.00% flushing current folder.
Can I run this command from any folder? I ran it from my user folder, will this make a difference?
I feel I am so close, so any help will be greatly appreciated!
Thanks
