Sound Problem with Premiere Pro 1.5

When I run Adobe Premiere Pro 1.5 and try to edit stuff, the sound keeps muting out. When I use the slider to scroll over the track I can still hear stuff. When I play it, it's muted. What's the problem? Is there a patch or something?

EDIT: Ok...it works now...but it still mutes sometimes then it comes back. Wtf.

I think it's got something to do with how it loads it into your memory and then plays it back so that it's not laggy... it's frustrating but a lot of video editing software does stuff like that... I've noticed that Final Cut pretty much does it with the video itself, which is gay... cause you kinda need to be able to see what you're working on lol.
