Ghosting problems.

Ok i just got a new Hard Drive for my laptop and got norton ghost so i could just copy the old drive onto the new drive so i hooked the new one up with a drive enclosure and copied the drive over. when it was done i put the new drive in and tried to boot it got to where it should start loading my account it just locks up. I tried recopying 3 more times but had the same problem. Im using ghost 9 and set it as an active drive so i could boot it. is there something im doing wrong or missing? any suggestions?

Have you considered Ghosting the original HDD to a CD or DVD, then extracting the ghost image via CD/DVD to the new (already installed) HDD?

I've had some trouble with Ghost too.. Although I stick to Ghost 2003.

well my lappy doesnt have a burner and i dont have access to an external one. guess ill just have to format and set it up again.
