problem with installer

help i'm having problem with this installer for east recovery professional software. Whenever i attempted to run this software it will run in ms-dos console. i'm using winxp pro sp2.

is there is any other way to change file association for this file?

is it saying something like wont run in 16bit mode? first i would update the windows installer, then try restoring the autoexec.nt and msdos.nt from the repair folder in the windows directory to the system32 folder

maybe check for spyware....
