View Full Version : Alcohol 120%
Hey guys. Well, im trying to load an image file onto my virtual drive and the image file is a .cue. I try to mount it, but it gives me an error: 'Cue sheet: line 1 - file not accessable.' Is it corrupted???
Did you try other ISO mounting software?

Try to convert the .BIN file to an .ISO file. That should circumvent a .CUE regardless of the CUE's integrity.

What other mounthing softwares are there?

That sounds like a plan to me. Look for a program called ISOBuster.
There's an old school copy I have that is known to my p33ps as the BatMan ISO Buster. I'm sure there are other flavers on Google. Search for "convert .bin to .iso" and you should be able to find somethin. Else, check on the Donkey or Torrent Sites.
G'Luck!

Ok, i got a program to read the .bin file, but it wont load it. it just extracts everything on the .bin file. I cant get it to install the program....

OK, well at this point you can see that the .BIN file is not corrupt, which may be possible that the .CUE file can be mounted using another program such as Daemon Tools or Nero 6 Ultra. Honestly, I completely forgot there was another tool I had that would allow converting from BIN to ISO, which is known as no other than " Bin2ISO ".
Sorry about the misleading previous post(s), I'm ashamed of myself now. =/
At this point, converting that .CUE to .ISO should be a snap with the Bin2Iso application. If you can't find it, I have it at the house, but I wont be able to get on my box til tomorrow. I'm also confident there are other apps that do the same thing, and again, Google is your best bet in finding a program name, then Donkey/Torrent later on if need be. (Don't do anything illegal!) =D
Good Luck!

Update: Also, make sure that the .BIN file is NOT READ ONLY while it is next to the .CUE file in whatever folder you have it in. (When using Alcohol to Mount.) This will cause the Line 1 error you are receiving.
To change this, right click the .BIN file, click properties, then look for a check in the box "read-only". If there's a check there, uncheck the box and attempt normal mounting with Alcohol.
Ok, i converted it. I got it installing and all, but now another error -_-. While its at 17% installing, it give me an error saying that it couldnt copy some .txt file. Retry or cancel. I clicked retry like 100 times but it still didnt work.

Try to make sure none of the files in the *install* directory are in Read Only mode. I updated a previous post explaining how to do this with just the .BIN file. All those methods apply to this issue as a possible remedy.
Other than that, did you copy this .BIN/.CUE from a non-NTFS partition?
Just wondering. =D

All of the files arent read only. It still give the error....

Alcohol 120% works great for me. I do .nrg and .mdf/.mds for my images. Never had a problem. I've got two very small .iso's that work great, too, but they're mainly just diagnostic CDs for hardware.
Hmmmm... Then i guess my file is corrupted...... THat sucks..................
