I want to buy a better cooler for my processor, but for the moment I don´t have plans to overclock the processor. There are any advantage for the perfomance of my PC using a better cooler as the Zalman? What are the advantages?
My PC:
Board Abit AX8
CPU AMD 3200+
Video card Abit X600XT
2*512 Kingston Ram Value
Chieftec
What are your temps??? If they arent to high, you shouldnt change the heatsink.

your motherboard temps is high, and the RPM showing it spinning around 843RPM!
You should check your HSF fans, and change it if it already spoilt......

You should check your HSF fans
What is it HSF?
HSF is HeatSink Fan. We want to know if the CPU is at 43C when the CPU usage is low (idle) or when the CPU usage is on or near 100% (load).

I dont think 43 degrees is a issue whether it was on load or idle. The motherboard temperature worries me. It should be lower than the CPU.......
And the RPM spun at 800+rpm, which is TOO low compared to other northbridge fans which normally spun at 2000-4000rpm!

LOL, he'd better go for chipset cooler first, the CPU temps look normal for me!

You can browse and ask around for it, but i'd reckon the Vantec will do a great job, with copper heatsink and stuff.........

Chipset temps aren't that bad, especially for a passive chipset heatsink. My DFI runs in it's 40's on idle.
