View Full Version : EasyRecovery Program changes file extension...............

After using the program call EasyRecovery and using the "Raw Recovery " Option, my Files that have been recovered are in a different File extension. The File extensions are Not recognized by windows like e.g. ( .OTP , .NLM, ..MPD , .PPT ) :confused: :confused: :confused:

Yeah nothing is garunteed with file recovery I guess. I've used Ontrack's EasyRecovery on a few customers computers and my own once and have never had any file extensions changed. Any idea what the file types were before you had to recover them?

Mostly, .RAR , .ZIP, .EXE, .PDF & Multimedia Files like ..... .AVI, WMV, MPEG
