tv capturing program

i am in need of a tv capturing program for my computer. the one that came with my tuner card doesnt capture the audio for some damn reason. i called up the company and they said my audio card was the one that captured the audio and i was like no ************************. so now i need a program that will actually record the audio and video together, and not like save them separately. thanks.

did you renember to connect the minijack from the tvcard to the line in on the audicard ?

minijack? not sure what that is so im guessing i didnt.

most tvtuners require a cable to go from the tvtuner to the line in on the soundcard to be able to play and record tv with sound
