View Full Version : DVD Burning.
well i have two movie files that i want to burn to one dvd and have them play continuous. i used VSO DIVX to DVD(real nice program btw) to convert em' from .avi to dvd .vob files. thing is that i can't figure a way to make em' sequential with VSO so that i can just burn em with nero. any ideas?
*edit* uhh.....i forgot to try and drag select both files to open. just did it and it's converting. i'll post if it all worked out ok.

If you use Nero ExpressVision you can import the VOBs and it will re-transcode them into one set of VOB files to be burnt onto the DVD. When I am trying to combine more than one video clip onto a single DVD I usually encode the clips to MPEG and then use ExpressVision to create the DVD and any menus. When Nero transcodes files it actually encodes them to MPEG in a temporary location. Nero doesn't do a very good job on the encode though, and it is really slow. Using something like MainConcept will give you better finished project and won't take near as much time.
i got it working. thing is that i transcoded these files from avi to VOB. when i did this i didn't transcode them sequentially so they wound up in 2 files with the same name, VTS_01_1 for example so i tried changing the second sst to make them sequential but that didn't work. i didn't think to transcode them at the same time which is what i did the second time. worked out just fine.
