USB MOUSERATE SWITCHER (http://www.tcmagazine.info/comments.php?shownews=8033&catid=3)
Use the tool above to remove the USB Polling Rate limitation in Windows XP..........
Windows XP limited the USB polling or refresh rate at 125hz, and that means if you're attached your mouse to USB port, the maximum refresh rate it will be able to achieve is only 125hz. With the tool above, you could change it to 250, 500 or even 1000hz. Sweet spot would be 250hz and 500hz for logitech mouse, and 1000hz for Razer Diamondback mouse...............
Do note that if you attempt to use logitech mouse at anything higher than 500hz, the mouse wont work and you'd find it difficult to browse your desktop using keyboard :D
