retreaving emails

I have a comp which the mother board or cpu died on me so i have bought a new comp but need to retreave my emails off of the old on i used netscap. And on my newone i have outlook but im try to find were i would look in my old hard drive which i have set as a slave for now till i can find this mail oh and addresses if pos i have gone into E drive,where it is and tried explore and have gone into search on drive E. Tryed in email and addresses but have no idea were to look from there any suggestions

Have you tried running outlook off the old drive? It MIGHT work.

Your old emails are on your old drive
But you used netscape

You can read you old drive but dont know where your emails are ?

i thought outlook keep the e-mail in a compressed, .pst files? And those files, if i'm not mistaken, is on :
C:/Document And Setting/user/application data/outlook.......

You wont find the e-mail in the outlook installation folder....... :(

P/S : You could use THIS PROGRAM (http://www.totalidea.com/outs-down.php) to backup and restore your outlook setting and e-mails........

i think what he's looking for is how nutscape stores the mails when you use it
as mail program insted of outlook

guess i would google around on the filestruct of nutscape if i were you

Thanx rudegar thats pretty much it I guess im having trouble trying to explain my delema but i have been using as rudegar likes to call it nutscap. It was on my old hardrive i am trying to find the proper sequence i need to get them out of old hard rive for instance for office express it's *.pst and outlook it's *.bdx Ithink. What is it for nutscap well try google though thanx rud but if anyone might have the rules let me know please and thank u

Well i can go into explore and see all my files and folders i canot run the operating sys it's self if i could then i could run netscape and retrieve my emails as they say im going through the back door so i need to find the porper folder which holds my old emails

well i would personnally explore the netscape folder ..

But as previously stated
Maybe look for a netscape file structure

Think this solves your problem
You email is lcated in the *.slt (salted) folder, located here:
C:\Documents and Settings\user_name\Application Data\Mozilla\Profiles\profilename\*.slt\Mail
