well it's perfectly ok for the dolphines to have weapons as long as it's to protect their home and for hunting
we can just hope the dolphins will have a good gun safety so we'll avoid too many pool shootings ;)

did you know that dolphins can go head to head with a shark? saw a discovery channel special. don't know if it was dolphins or porposes(spelling?). shark came to close to this momma's kid and the thing went crazy raming it with it's nose. shark finally gave up and swam away.

I could only imagine, swimming somewhere in gulf of mexico and this dolphin fired a toxic dart or ramming me............. thare ought to be a dumbass funeral services with people laughing............

Reminds me of H2G2 (hitchhikers' guide to the galaxy), where all the dolphins fly up to the space when earth is about to be demolished............

that reminds me that my pops and i were in a conversation about sci-fi and it's importance to real life future events. he mentioned to me that if i went and read alot of the old stuff or even old comic books i would notice alot of the "fantasy" stuff in those old books and comics are a part of our every day life without us even realizing it.

moral, pay attention to sci-fi books based in physics (alot of the old sci-fi and still some today writers had degrees in physics).
