Well we updated our poxie server at work and the forums got blocked but i talked to my boss and got them back. Its good to be back. anything important i missed? i noticed everyone hates Avid :D

LOL! Horus and I-Ram are getting more attention these days. Horus will only be for those guys with Opterons and plans on using up to 32 cpus in one system (64 if they are dual core).

I-Ram is Gigabytes relatively new thing people are taking an interest in as it uses ram in a pci card up to 4 or 8gb as a HDD. the pci card plugs into your SATA connection and is recognized as a HDD. the transfer speeds of ram used in a HDD config has many intriqued.

Its the price. SSD's prices will make you scream all day and night, while the I-RAM are quite affordable :p

In relation to money paying work....computer forums are easily considered a waste of time.

not if your an efficient employee. in that aspect you want to keep that employee happy so he keeps producing and improving. little things like allowing him access to PC site when he has some down time is free to you. bored and grumpy employees will commonly have more difficulty producing on the same level and will cost you in the end more money to employee.

see, give your employees PCSTATS and they will make you millionaires:D
