Im wanting to replace my stock cooler with one thats more effiecnt and quieter. Should i get a zalman VF700 or an NV Silencer 5?

The NV Silencer would be the much better choice. It not only cools down your GPU and memory, it exausts that heat out of your case. More exaust, more negative pressure, thus more airflow. The zalman heatsink can't offer that.

The Zalman is quieter...or louder and cools all the components on the PCB (the fan blows onto the components) However, case temps will be higher than the silencer... depends what you're looking for...
