Well, I put my ducting system in place the other week to draw cold(er) air into my case from outside. It's currently 1C outside, with my CPU idling at 31C. Maybe when it turns to about -20C then I can get a temp of around 10C :p
Its not quite cold enough yet for it to be worth it. In a few weeks I'll see if I do a duct mod...

Where I live, during the winters I have all the cold air I need and very low humidity. I have had an idea on ducting cold air from my attic down through the ceiling to my rig(s) but just haven't been able to find the time to do it yet. If I had a digital camera, then it would be nice to show some pics of what I have to work with and also share some ideas with you guys. Who knows, maybe I'll get one for Xmas... :D
That's too permanent. My PC is directly next to a window. So I will make a removable duct mounting using a sheet of plywood so I can remove it when I'm not gonna be using it...

HMMM...that's a good idea, I have a window that can be opened during the winter...let's see...a little plywood, some acrylic sheeting...(opens toolbox and starts sifting through it...).... :D

Well, today it's 7C outside. My CPU is currently running at 39C under full load for about 2 hours. Not bad. Might crank up the core speed to 2.0 GHz soon.

I just open all my windows, let the entire place get as cold as it is outside.
Seeing how I live in Florida, and how its currently only 70F. This isn't a problem.

Well tomorrow/tomorrow night will be our first snowfall. We are under a winter storm watch right now. Only 1-3" around my house, but locations that are only a 10 minute drive my me that are higher in elevation are expecting 8-12" of snow. It's kinda odd to have a snowstorm with a name...Wilma :)
