Hi,

i bought a new DIY PC and i installed the WinXP PRO into it. All the hardware is detected and works fine. I begin to format the new HDD.
I press "C" to create a new partition of 30GB and format it in NTFS mode, all is working fine till i begin to create another partition on the same physical HDD.
This drive is name "E" when i boot the pc with the WinXP CD, I press "C" again and now the problem occurs. Now there are two options whenever the pc reboots / boot up and tell me to chose which OS to boot up from.
I have tried to format the entire "E" drive several times in Windows using My Computer > format E and going into the command prompt and type "Format E" but the problem still occurs.
Can someone pls tell me how to remove the two options during boot up so that it can go straight to boot up using the existing C drive WinXP PRO.

thanks and best regards, :)

when you format your hdd separate it in 2 part... 1 partition for each os....
install xp in your c:

reboot....

put cd window again and format (ntsf) the rest of your hdd ( e:)

at next boot you should have the option between your 2 os ...
