longest i ever stayed awake without sleep was 8 days. delirium set in on the 3rd day. i used to have a bad case of insomia. the most i can sleep nowadays is 3-4 hours. i'll usually wake up and get myself back to sleep with some meditation for another 2 but that's the most.

i think that these people playing MM games aren't even eating. fluids can only sustain you for so long.

I just dont see how people can get into games like this. I usually get bored with a game after about a hour lol.

My longest duration was 3.5 days. That last 12 hours was all in delerium, so that's why I finally crashed. I wasn't up playing games solid though, I pulled an all-nighter the first night and then the next night I wasn't really sleepy, so I decided to see how long I could go.

I went through like five gallons of soda and a couple of pounds of skittles during that time though. I'm surprised I don't have diabietes from all the sugar intake.

I can only play a game for like, three hours at the most at a time. I'll either get bored of it, or so ¶issed off at it that I throw the controller down and do something else.

I used to have bad insomnia, but it's kind of gone away..sort of. Every now and then I just don't feel like sleeping, so I don't.

omg do this. After about 16 hrs on a game, lay down and close your eyes next to a TV.

Now think about something, lets say, a joke your co-worker said the day before. You will start to realize that the person talking on the TV is starting to say what you are thinking.

It freaks me out every time

That happens to me sometimes, but it doesn't take 16 hours of gaming and laying next to a TV. Usually when I'm sleeping, I'll have a dream about doing whatever and then in the dream the phone rings and I wake up and the phone is ringing. I know it doesn't sound the same, but it's weird, because it's like, whatever happens in my surroundings happens in the dream, but everything builds up to that event happening.

I don't really know how to explain it, but when I used to have my stereo as the alarm clock, it would go off in the mornings and whatever the morning talk show people were talking about was going on in my dream and such, too.
