My delSol (http://public.fotki.com/delsolmeanie/) was cheaper, and its 8 years newer. Only car more overrated then a Supra is the 89-94 Nissan 240SX.

Looks were OK, to bad it looked just like a Stealth and Probe.
Their quarter mile were in the 14s, not cool for something thats somehow gotten the title of "last affordable sports car".
I owned one as well, in fact it was my first car. I'll post a pic as soon as the hardforums come back up.
When drifting started they were cheap to get ahold of, but not anymore. They aren't the best buy for drifting performance, but that doesn't seem to matter anymore. :rolleyes:
ahh nothing beats a good ol oldsmobile sierra. had one, worked great, got another one, replaced the engine (drove 7000 miles without an oil change... my mom never went and got the oilchange she said she did!! women...) now i can pick up le speed pretty good, especially for 2500$ for the car and 400$ for a new engine (did i say new? i meant, from a used car place)

im driving a sexy 91 Cadillac Coupe DeVille, complete with no left headlight, tailights that dont blink, a bent frame that causes the front left tire to go bald monthly, electric problems that disable my ability to see how much gas is in the tank, and oil leak that causes me to put a quart in every week, and a passenger side window that is power, but doesnt go up.....thats right, ITS STUCK DOWN!!

no this is when someone in their right mind comes in and says "only in america would you ever be allowed to drive that car" i mean sheesh, i've seen 3rd world country's with cars in better shape then that.

hahaha, shes sturdy thought, ill give her that. I pull out of the parking lot at work at 40 mph and shes a champ....well, except for the engine smoking. But thats ok :D
Did I mention the front left fender is completely gone? Ya, I unknowingly bought a retread, and it decided to fly off while i was doing 90 on 1-95. That tread took my whole fender with it haha, and because of the electrical problem, I cant turn my AC on, but surprisingly.....the radio still works.
LOL that brings back memories. nothing like me and my buddy sittin in my oldsmobile back when my mom din't put the oil in, about 5 months in on one early morning i was speeding out of my neighbourhood on the main road at around 20 miles per hour, my buddy's like "dawg pick up the speed ya granny" followed by "WTF you're flooring it !!!!"
i also haven't had AC for uh, years. never used it do, love driving with the windows down. there's a leek but i dont care about fixing it.

lol ur in fla too I see, how can u live with no car AC!! i wanna die sometimes. I get off work at 5pm and 1-95 is so full, im sitting there stopping, moving 2 ft, stopping...WITH NO AC!!
Hey Nova, wanna buy my POS for $100, im in Pompano Beach, ill even include the parts that fell off the car (they're sitting in the back seat haha)

My 240SX and my delSol had AC, never use it. I just put the windows down and open the sunroof/remove the roof.
Just makes driving a little bit more fun.
dunno, funny thing is i just came from way up north. guess i adapt fast or something.
lol nt. not to mention i don't even have that much $. can't even get a job, for the first time in years i'm bombing math :(

Do you get Calibra's in the states? And if so, are they 'Opel' Calibra's?
