80mm case fans

Hey, i want some case fans that have pretty lights on them, or glow under UV...whatever looks cool...but what's a good brand to get, there's so many to choose from, i dunno what's good or not...i have a generic black one that sucks....i swiped it from an old PSU...

Is there any like kits that have fans and CCFLs in one package??

Coolermaster makes nice LED 80mm fans with their trademark rifle bearing. I have 6 of them and they are probably the best fans I have owned out of the others...(Vantec, Antec, Thermaltake, Sunon, Coolermaster). They are not very loud, and push decent amount of air.

As for your second question, there are fans that are lit by Cold Cathodes, and the brand that pops into my head is Sunbeam and Logisys, although there are others, I forget the names.

i like the antec led fans persoanlly, uv fans are all the same if u ask me

I bought a pair of cheap 80 millys with blue leds, and within a month most of the leds have failed. They should have four each, now there are three working between them.

DON'T buy cheap. If you're going to spend money of your aesthetics it's worth the extra money.

IMO just best to get a decent Fan and then add a CCFL in the case

nexus seem to make nice fans (ive got 3 in my case) and when they say their silent, their not kidding

fans with lights in them allways seem tacky to me but thats just MO

its up to you what your get, their are alot of brands out there, perhaps look for reviews of the fans ?

I hope for your sake they're not, while my Antec Neopower PSU seems to be the bollocks, those Vantec fans look identical to the Antec ones I was moaning about above.

well it is only a 5$ fan so i wont be losing much, Im just using it for my side panel fan, have one allready there that came with the case but its not uv and I have cables in there that are uv sensative. so I want them to glow. I dont know why it is going to take so long to get here, i chose 3 day ground and it says it wont come till next teusday and I ordered friday or saturday. I also got some of these, anyone ever use them, any good?
