It's because stupid comcraps sende me XP home upgrade, instead of Prof. FULL, I just realized why do i have HOME instead of Professional i ordered?

from my knowledge it's imposible to get xp-pro .... on home..
bad luck for ya .. keep asking.. everything is possible in computer science..

there's 4 versions of windows that can be upgraded to xp pro, windows 98se, me, 2000, and home. so yes, you can upgrade home, to xp pro.
what you do, is you put in your xp pro cd. while your in windows that is. when the autorun comes up. click the option to install it, thatll reboot the system and run the upgrade installation. if you boot from the cd, it will not give you the upgrade option
i'm a little confused by both your posts though, the first one u said xp home on pro. you cant downgrade pro to home edition without reinstalling altogether

Let me understand this...you have XP Home, you ordered XP Pro upgrade and whoever sent you a an XP Home upgrade? Send it back and get XP Pro Upgrade!
