View Full Version : Windows Menu Bar Missing :| Help
hi, in internet explorer i still have teh file edit paste menu bar with the back buttons and such but in my general folders, or say my computer these top screen rows of menu options is not there anymore and its driving me mad, i dont know how it just dissapeard but theres now file edit bars etc and i cant use the back up and forward navigation buttons as they arnt there either,. anyone know hoet to turn these back on?

If you have tool bar, Try running your mouse over the edge of the lower part of the tool bar until you get the up and down arrow. If you are able to get this hold down the left mouse button and pull down. If the arrow does not show up then check and see if this tool bar has been locked by right clicking the tool bar and look for lock tool bar uncheck this and try again.
here are screen shots from 1 pc with them and then from my second comp where they dissapeared, ive highlited one in red where its missing, its really annoying me:(

Try pressing F11 whilst you have the window open that it dont work on.
This removes the menu bar when changing to full screen mode.
If it is not this you might have some adware affecting the machine make sure your security is uptodate and to run a scan for adware and viruses.

johneva916- you legend!!!! thanks man, its F11 then it showed the standard buttons bar with the others collapsed in, just had to unlockthe tool bars and address bar and reposition them and they are there now :D
thanks again dude, damm forums like this rock, its just a masive pool of tallent and knowledge and saves so much time

My pleasure dude it is always nice to have the answer to help someone out, and your very right using foums like this one is an exellent way to get help and advise, someone normaly has the answer and if not can at least send you in the right direction to the answer.
