Hey, i figured id want a couple of better 80mm fans than the ones that came with the CM case. Since, i will be replacing at least one of the intake fans, i really don't want a glowing one, colored light does not look good through the grill in front. So what would you recommend? I would really like them to blow some air, thinking around 40cfm each fan. Noise is not too great of an issue, but keeping it under 35dB, max 40, would be nice, so vantec tornado is not really an option. And like i've said, plain look would be the best. Thanks.

40cfm for under 35dBA is not going to happen. Not with honest ratings. This (http://www.performance-pcs.com/catalog/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=37&products_id=3141) Panaflo Ultra only pushes 46cfm at 38dba.

Most people are happy with the Panaflo M1 Performance (http://www.performance-pcs.com/catalog/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=37&products_id=877)

Well, i was looking at this guy (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16835150044) Was kinda getting skeptical, as the specs are way better than other fans. So, should i try them or just go wih this (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16835150007)(which i am coming to prefer due to the price)

Ominous may be right, as much as I hate to admit, :o (at least on hardware), but they are probably the best fans out there ... I have a couple myself ...but there are expensive, but then again, what price are you willing to pay to have a quiet system? But you will buy what you can afford, good luck !

Masscool - generic 80mm case fan; 31.73cfm @ 28dBa.

I've been using this one for a while. 99 cents USD and free shipping if you buy more than 10.

I have six running right now. The blades on them are rather delicate, so just don't be messing around in your rig whilst they're running. Even though they are sleeve bearings, two and a half years of probably 98% uptime in that timeframe and not a single one has started to show any signs of the bearings going bad.

Hmm..if I had some extra cash right now, I'd probably buy like 20 more. Always needing fans for something, even if it's not computers.
