At CES, Monarch show cased a mATX Hornet...SLI Edition.
That means its a normal size mATX motherboard, not some lame ass uATX like Shuttle tried to pull off.
From the colors of the PCI slots it looks to be eVGA's board, which makes sense since eVGA showed off a rough Intel mATX SLI design at CES last year. It is interesting to note however that the board pictured here is AMD.
Man, I had almost given up hope...my dream system is rekindled!

That's almost more gaming console then PC now. I need my PCI slots. It is good to know they're doing it though. Would fit in right at home hooked up to a high def set. Oh yeah, good luck finding a replacement powersupply in the event of failure.

I am in the process of switching my main gaming rig into a SFF system. There are no really good motherboards to meet such needs. I agree that it does look like an EVGA motherboard paired with their VCs as well.

Monarch is selling the machines now. So I hope it won't be long before other merchants start picking up this board.
The hornet is using a 350W topower. However there are several mATX cases now that support fullsize ATX PSUs.
It is important to note this warning from Monarch:
"Tech Note: If 2 GF 7800 GTX "overclocked" Video cards are selected a 4000+ or lower processor must
be used and no more than one hard disk may be selected."

Pure sex...
It has at least one PCI slot, I can only hope it has another between the PCI-Express slots.

Pulled on some old connections and found out a little more info.
Its got a rear 1394 connection, 2 USB 2.0 headers, and supports SATA 3G.
I'm trying to find out now what the lan is rated at, and it it has a second PCI slot.

My last information post.
The onboard audio is 8-channel AC'97, the LAN is nVidia Gigabit 10/100/1000.
Boards sounds sweet, can't wait till I find someone who actually wants a hornet type box so I can order this motherboard.
