Good review...

...but would it hurt the manufacturer to use some decent friggin capacitors near the processor :mad:

--> OST <--

:confused: What are they thinking :confused:

Sorry but this just killed its chance of being on my "new mainboard" list...

:D Carry on :D

haha, i'm gonna play with my old epox 8rda+ by replacing all the caps with better quality caps with higher ratings just to practice. i'm a 2M tech(do soldering and such) but haven't been busy lately. i plan on doing this to all mobo's i get from here on out:D as i get more comfortable with this i'll do research into what other components i can replace for better stability and performance(ie, overclocking). now if i can find someone who can pay with mobo bios's i'd be set:D

OST is 3rd tier GARBAGE...use decent caps in the front end, only to use POOP near the processor :eek:

Also for the price of the board, the Biostar is cheaper and has better hardware including a chipset fan that is actually stuffed as opposed to the Asrock board that has the PCB laid out but not stuffed...

If I was given one of the Asrock boards for free, I'd recapp with something decent.
