I bought a MSI K7N2 motherboard off ebay, and it was pretty much brand new. I tried assembling it tonight, and got all the essentials there. However, it seems that it's dead, cause it won't even turn on at all. The PSU is ok, the RAM is ok, at last check the CPU is ok. All the right plugs are in, but it just won't power on. Any ideas?
And it's not a big deal if it's dead, cause I got my money back already, since it was lost in the mail for a while.

you have to be carefull when buying stuff from ebay. hardware the most.
I had the same problem not long ago. I also thought that i had everything plugged in right. I mixed up the pins for power, reset, and HD led. Check them again, check the manual, then check them again.....damn small writing.

What can you do other than reseat the components once more and hope for the best? Sounds to me like the motherboard is toast. I suppose it is possible that the CPU is causing the problems, but the CPUs are generally pretty resiliant.
