I have began RMA procedure for my gawd awful msi k8n neo 4 platinum

i obugth a new harddrive, and it wont work with ide drive plugged in,

and my ide drive ended up getting corrupted, going to end up with warranty repair, but it will come back still now working , if that happens its hitting ebay

It's probably your PSU not having enough juice for both HDDs?! If your vcore fluctuates quite a bit, it might have to do with the PSU as well. Not sure though, but possible.

Edit: on a side note, you *will* need a native 24 pin psu for the ultra-d, so you might want to look for a new psu first :)

dw, im getting a new psu :p

but i looked all over the net, and its quitea common problem haivng a ahrd time hooking up sata drives do them

and overclocking is non existant with the ****ing 219 fsb bug

my msi hit ebay, twas an nforce 3 board, but it died twice on me in the 6 months i had it....i dunno if the rma worked, but the guy that bought it can lick my nuts if he thinks ill ever take it back

I had a socket A MSI and it also died on me twice. I did 2 RMAs and said tha hell wit it gee. I sold the SOB to some little dude who was just looking to use the net.

I had a MSI slot A board POS all the fan connectors died on the board. People tell me ASUS cost too much but heck never had an issue.
