Will this processor AMD Opteron 170 dual core, work with a DFI Lanparty UT NF4 SLI-DR Expert. I am building a new PC for gaming for my nephew. Also what would be good memory to go with this? As for a graphics card thinking Leadtek 6800GS Xtreme.

I just got 2gb's of Mushkin with a similar setup. With this setup, you better overclock though, or you're getting a lot of useless things.

You might also consider a cheaper motherboard, the Ultra-D perhaps? That will allow you to get a better graphics card which will be much better for gaming.

Thanks for the replies. Going to less expensive mobo can be done. As to a video card what would you suggest? I am really watching the prices on all components so my sister doesn't have to spent a lot. We had set a budget and would like to keep it at that or less if possible. So if there is any more let me know. Randys' birthday is at the end of April. So there is time. I was also thinking of OCZ memory. I have used this brand before.
The rest of the system is an Antec box, Enermax PSU, 2 Seagate 160GB SATA
drives, DVD writer + _ R type.

If you look in the General Hardware Section, Lazy Azn put a few deals there. I would go for a 7800GT.
