I used to have this crappy black 80mm fan that i swiped out of an old power supply, as an exhaust fan, but i never had any intake, and then i took the black fan out all together cause it was loud and well, crappy...but with my new window mod, i added a side intake fan, as well as a new exhaust fan...I'm gonna put this stuff in my case mod work log...but since i saw such a dramatic difference i thought i'd post here first....i got a biohazard fan grill too, it's actually for my new rig, but i stuck it on this one for now...

This is for my Celeron based backup rig...i've been messing around with it...cause my case and video card STILL haven't arrived, so i need to do SOMETHING to feed my addiction...

Um, yeah....not choking a system of airflow usually creates a drop in temps.
Can't wait till you sh*t your pants with quality 120mm fans.

Even running my case open with a house fan blowing into it, CPU didn't drop, and system only to 25....

i know, my new case for my A64 build has 120mm fan ports :D well, it has one in the back, and i'm gonna make one in the front...and i'll run it 80mm side intake, 120mm frnt intake, 80mm top exhaust, and 120mm rear exhaust...

I had massive case and cpu and gfx card drops when i added my new fans, when i added 2 raptors and a 300gb storage drive

re organized my case, had a 80mm intake blowing over hard drives. if you can do that do it, the small gaps between hard drives force air to rush through rappoidly cooling them down

i got a 120mm side case fan which is perfect, blows direcly on to the Quadro graphics card which diverts the air nicly upwards to both cpus to cool them down,

then the 120mm back fan pulls the warmed air right out of the case. they are working so well the air coming out of the case is ice cold
