Ok so i just built my new rig and had it up for about an hour and it seemed ok. i then proceeded to update the BIOS to V.20 and all hell broke loose. i was not able to change any settings in my bios and everytime i did, my computer would just shut down right before windows loaded. anytime i set my settings to "User Defined" it would just shut down after a reboot.
i flashed back to BIOS V18 and that seemed to fix my problem for the moment. i am running Sandra burn in right now and well c what happens when i get back.
i think im gonna just return my board and stick w my ASUSes
anyone have anysuggestions????

Did you reset things back to stock before you flash? and reset CMOS after? Could just be a dumm bios bug.

And qbical, its recommended to set your motherboard to stock setting - no overclocking and stuff, then only update the BIOS.......
If there's error when flashing the BIOS, you're f*cked :D

i just reflashed back to the origanal bios and was good to go. ty
my new problem is that my rig wont even boot anymore. i just get a code of "25" which is VGA related. i tried another video card that i KNOW works and i get the same result, 25. i even tried my other PCIe slot and same results. this rig was just purrin soundly 20hrs ago :(
