Hi. The PC Stats Beginners Guide To Command Prompt In WinXP looks very useful but is there a similar Guide anywhere to C.P.in Win98SE,please. ? Cheers, Walrus. :confused:

Windows 98 still uses a DOS based kernal. Try searching for for a list of DOS commands, most, if not all, will work under Windows 98. I'd post a link, but I am sure google works at your house too. ;)

Thanks Joe but all that came up when I typed Help into Command Prompt was [Quote] Bad command or file name. [\Quote]. Cheers,Walrus. :confused:

same commands as xp mostly, some flags will be different, like ipconfig in xp works like ipconfig /renew while in 98 its ipconfig /renew_all

should work for the most part though
