Music. Safety is for suckers... No but seriously the best safety feature a car is a safe driver. Just pay attention to what you're doing and you'll be cool.

wtf is a safety kit?

its that thing you havent looked at since you bought it 20 yrs ago
No seriously what is a safety kit? Sure I have jump leads, spare tyre and ****, but a safety kit? What the heck does that comprise of?
A first aid kit? 'Cos if you're involved in a car accident and trapped in your burning car, I doubt you'll be reaching to the back seat for a plaster for your forehead.
Maybe an emergency triangle? That's only ever of any use if you break down at night on a small road right by a corner, the car won't start, and the battery's dead so you have no lights. Personally, I'll save the twenty quid and take my chances.
A fire extinguisher? Car fires start & spread really quickly following a crash, and then it goes -BOOM-. The only reason I'd risk my life with a *tiny* fire extinguisher is if someone else was trapped inside, and lets face it now, the likelihood of you extinguishing a fire, that started *under* the bonnet, with a *tiny* fire extinguisher, *before* the car explodes in your face, is pretty slim.
Personally I'm inclined to think that I'm A-OK without a safety kit, whatever that is. Plus I could use some decent bass in my, uh, *cough*, *whispers*vwpolo*/whispers*. Nah, it's not too bad really.
Neh, i'd prefer to conceal a small blade in my car, incase some jackass want to mess up with me, then i'd got an edge over him :p
About the safety kit, i'd get one though, its not for you but for other poor people - with that kit you could help some poor soul who involved in accident of some sort. BUT make sure you have basic knowledge in using those kits.
Here in my country safety triangle is a must, if say, your car broke down, you left your car on the road and some bastard didnt see and hit your car = you'd be the one who responsible for the accident caused. And yeah, the people who hit your car could claim your insurance !

by safty kit i mean a collection of things you may carry in your car like the tringles road flares emerigencie cell phone (cell phone with no service can only call 911 ) that little poratble tire kit thingy and considering the number of converstions you all have on the subject i think condoms would help to
yeah i was thinking the safety kit was a box of rubbers myself. ... maybe some handcuffs too ;)
