Yeah it's pretty hot in the UK at the mo'. I'm in Hertfordshire, and being stuck in a tiny room with this many PCs is causing the temperature to soar well above what it is outside. Benefit: good weather for shooting though. Just been out with my air rifle, and it's beautiful out there.

I'm pretty used to being in hot countries though, so it doesn't bother me much. Quite well travelled.

I'm a little farther down the Atlantic Coast over here state-side, and it's going to 35C today. Supposed to be in the upper 30's all week. Humidity is above 50%, too, so it's just sickeningly unbearable. It's even in the upper 30's alllll the way up North into New York and such. Man, this crap is getting bad. That's global warming for you though; only going to get worse.

Nebraska has had some wicked record highs. One city had 45C! Couple others had >40's, too. It's getting real bad.

same here, its common to have heat waves by now but this clearly is a step highr then previous summer

here in jersey it is/was/will be 100ºF. its pretty f*ckin hot. when i came into work monday morning, the ac in the server room, which is maybe 5ft by 5ft, had shut off and it was well in excess of 110ºF. now its at 65ºF. its like 70ºF in the office right now. it feels good.

Bunch of pussies. I spent most of last year living in the Balearics, (Magaluff, Mallorca to be precise) it was 40 - 45 degrees in the shade for most of summer.
