Theres some things i dont get. For me i want a fast snappy operating system that uses minimal resorces. When i mbenchmarked i had 15 processes running. The system was very snappy and not even on Raid 0. What the hell is with all tehy eye candy crap on vista? sure i got the beta but hell. 99% the time im using something thats not on desktop. The desktop is just a navigation way to the aplication.

So stop adding crap to it!!!! i want it fast and non resorce hogging. !! the jump from 98 to XP was huge

Vistas Specs are pathetic. who the hell needs to see transparency this ??? and that and such. It really bugs me why can tthey just optimize the code more and make this navigate beter without hogging crap loads of ram and cpu power. the windows interface is just an electronic phone book when you think about it. You look on it to get to the program of item you want then you use the program to run the file. when as i use full screen you dont see anything but teh bottom bar.

Vista in my view wil not add anything in my view, would be a waste of money.

couldn't agree more! (as I sit here typing this on my mac)

BTW, if you follow the OSX track record, it actually has less eyecandy then when it started.

First of all, you should realize the OS is still in BETA. Therefore, memory and CPU consumption will be high and there will be a lot of bugs around the OS

Secondly, everybody say the same when Windows XP RC was released. BUT now see how many people are using XP...... and loving it despite all those security holes and stuff

Third, I dont buy good hardwares just to play games. I wanted my OS to look good, and heck do we all spend times in the OS environment. Sorting files and stuff. And transparency and those 3D tabs applied to all 'windows' not just the desktop :D

And, XP will be with us for time being, and i'm sure you get acquinted with Vista when DX10 is released........... because windows XP aint going to support DX10 :D
