Microsoft plans to push IE 7 out as a "high priority" update via Automatic Updates in Windows XP in November.
Better turn off them automatic updates before November.:sniper:

Average users yes, I know very few people (that are not tech savy) that use Firefox (or something other than IE)

People are going away from it though...My entire college uses and has firefox installed on every computer. But, indeed, the overwhelming majority is on IE.

Its already pre-installed in your operating system. And IE plays important roles in the overall system function, namely the 'Internet Options', most of the program takes their internet connectivity options from IE........
Well, newer browser are always welcomed. Through IE7 have bugs and limitation, but keep in mind IE6 was piece of s*it when it was released.......... most of the windows updates are meant for IE. Suffice to say that it'll satisfy most users needs :p
Look at THIS THREAD (http://forum.pcstats.com/showthread.php?t=38138) for IE7 review!
