All of a sudden I'm having major BSOD problems with one of my systems. I've not changed any hardware nor added any software in the past three weeks, everything has been running smoothly.
This morning I rebooted after running an antivirus program which caught a bunch of stuff (my kids had been using this particular PC) and then BSOD. I've been trying various things for the past 6 hours and am no further ahead.
I have noticed that during the boot sequence getting to the Windows screen the monitor seems to lose the video connection and then re-establishes and runs fine until the BSOD appears. The PC runs absolutely fine in safe mode except I'm unable to install new video drivers in this mode... perhaps this is normal.
Any suggestions welcome.........
