US researchers have simulated half a virtual mouse brain on a supercomputer.

I think this is quite awesome. Does this mean that someday I will be able get rid of all those imaginary friends and replace them with computer simulations? :woot:
Well i think the research is funded and was thought back in 1996's by DARPA........ read it somewhere in Popular Magazine. And the intention here is to use the mouse brain to fly the US fighter planes as it is capable of doing tremendous amount of processing power :p
And this simulation proves how powerful mouse brain is, since they only capable of simulating half of the brain with a SUPERCOMPUTER. Well, i would buy a Intel Rodent Brain Core 2 to power my PC ;)

lol! :D
(Is this 15 character yet?)
watch it be just terrible software optimization. anyway i guess this pretty much puts sony's PS3 is 1% of the human brain claim to shame.
