I've got two PC's, one is connected to the Router no problem (DG834GT) but the other has a strange issue. It takes AGES "renewing your network address" or "Aquiring IP" it then says connected at 'excellent' strength. BUT, I can't get anything on IE. It says there's no internet connection. WTF?

Then, about 5 mins later the connection is labelled 'limited or no connectivety'

What router is that?

Any security setting (WPA, WEP?)

It's a Netgear DG834GT.

I'm using WP-PSK security. Rather bizarrely, I can now get a connection with the wireless PC (My phone seemed to be interfering) but neither PC can actually download anything, the download hangs after a couple of megs, the PC I'm using atm is connected to the router via ethernet.

Try to check if the Authentication Type (if you have, sorry, don't know much about this router's set up page) on router is set to open or shared, it might fix problem, everytime i had problem is because it was set to open and i kept it shared for security reason.

Hope this helps
