autocad 2007

k guys if anyone has any info on autocad 2007 it would help

i bought autocad 2007 licence so its legal copy
i was wondering if i format my hard drive, will i loose my licence
or what will happen , and/or what do i need to do in order not to loose my licence

I think it has a License Tool which allows you to export and transfer your license. Just look in the folder for it in Start Menu.

it asks me to enter the new computer information when i try to export the licence
but all i really want to do is just format the HDD and then use the licence on the same computer
any ideas

I've never really used it or bought it. Maybe try emailing Autodesk and ask them.

Since its the same system with no new devices, you can simply reinstall it and enter in the auth. number. I would stay away from the license export option.

If it gives you any trouble (which it shouldn't) a simple phone call (e-mail or however they list the contact options) should be able to fix it quickly and easily. Just be sure you have your license number or know how to get it from autodesk if you lose it. Should be little trouble though....
