Hi,
Was browsing through the BIOS, and there were several settings which I had no idea what they might do. Any one care to explain them for me? :)
These are the settings, and their possible values:
JUMPER-FREE CONFIGURATION
-----------------------------
1) DRAM Static Read Control: Auto/Enabled/Disabled
2) Transaction Booster: Auto/Enabled/Disabled
When not set to Auto, you can choose another setting pops up: Boost Level: 0/1/2/3
3) Clock Over-Charging Mode: Auto/Enabled/Disabled
4) CPU Voltage Reference: 0.63x/0.61x/0.59x/0.57x
5) CPU Voltage Damper: Auto/Enabled/Disabled
6) CPU PLL Voltage: Auto/1.5v/1.7v
7) FSB Termination Voltage: Auto/1.2v/1.3v/1.4v/1.5v
8) North Bridge Voltage Reference: Auto/0.67x/0.61x
OTHER PAGES
-------------
PEG Port Force x1: Disabled/Enabled [Explained - RECOMMENDED: Disabled]
This BIOS feature allows you to convert a PCI Express X16 slot into a PCI Express X1 slot.
When enabled, the PCI Express X16 slot will be forced to run in the PCI Express X1 mode.
When disabled, the PCI Express X16 slot will be allowed to run in its normal PCI Express X16 mode.
Also, if any one could tell me some recommended settings, I would appreciate it :D
Thanks!
