Use of FTP

I know that we can send large files over internet with the help of File Transfer Protocol. But, I do not know how to use it ?

Do you have a specific software package you are having trouble with? Not sure what to advise you on... creating a FTP or using a specific program or finding one that meets your needs.

Check the Colins weekly tips section. I have been there before and you can set up a folder on your own computer as an FTP folder accessible over the internet by password. Can be usefull actually if people have acomp on 247 and have a few mates who like file sharing. You can hold them yourself on your machine and send larger files faster than for example over MSN.
