I bet that wouldnt work properly. Have you ever had speech recognition on phone? Anyone who has will understand how annoying they are. They hardly work and you have to speak really slow and clearly in order to get the soffware to recognise your voice. Plus you have to pre programme all of the words you want it to recognise.

Sorry about the short post...was extremely tired.

But anyway, I have used it a bit while playing Guild Wars to open up menus and do attacks and it seems to work fine. I'd say 97% of the time it does exactly what I mean for it to do. One of my commands is linked to the ESC key to close menus and for some odd reason it sometimes minimizes the game, but not to often. As far as using it for guild wars, it's only a convenience but for the Supcom players on the forums and possibly UT3 players, it would be really handy. Theoretically you could map groups of units to voice commands and form the groups in game and command them with voice

I was skeptical at first too, after seeing vista voice recognition in action and after using dragon naturally speaking and having a fair number of problems. I only did the main setup session and one extra training session where you read the paragraphs and it "learns" and it seems to work extremely well.

Another thing is that it uses very low overhead while running, roughly 6,000k which is 6 megabytes of memory. Not bad if you ask me.

Hmm thats really cool though. I would consider it unfair if it worked good in an RTS though.
