Post your 'slang' from where you live and quote them here!

A few from England

all over the gaff/shop - general term to describe someone or something that has no direction or that is in a mess.

arseholed - very drunk, e.g. "I got totally arseholed on Saturday night.".

backhander - a payment given, normally in a secretive fashion.

bell - a telephone call. eg "give us a bell later"

chinky - Chinese takeaway or person. eg. "shall we go over the chinky ?" (shall we take a visit to the Chinese takeaway ?).

nadds, nadgers - testicles. This term comes from the medical term for testicles 'gonads'. A fave saying of mine that uses the word is "does it pump your nadds ?", i.e.. does it get you excited ?.

All quoted from urban dictionary

these are among the many i use . Im sure there are english on here who use them on a daily basis. Feel free to add yours from other countries.

AkHandyman quoted a cracker

dagnabit - a rather nice alternative to "Damn!"

I have used catty whompus a few times ... :p

How about ... "that's harder than pulling hen's teeth!"

or another favorite ... "that looks like it's been Afro-engineered!"

No offense to anyone of color in here ... it's just an expression!! :p

This one's unique to my country:

Zeroes - Inspired by the popular TV series, "heroes", zeroes refers to those with no heroic capability whatsoever

Mamak Head - Given to those who always visited the indian-muslim restaurant.......

Bangkok Head - Refers to people who make simple thing complicated. It came from the original references to Thailand Capital City (Bangkok) real name, which is Krung Thep Mahanakhon Amon Rattanakosin Mahinthara Yuthaya Mahadilok Phop Noppharat Ratchathani Burirom Udomratchaniwet Mahasathan Amon Piman Awatan Sathit Sakkathattiya Witsanukam Prasit (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bangkok#Full_name)........ you could called it that but some thai people prefer the real, long, complex name :p

In Texas if you ask for a "Coke" , that covers all carbonated drinks.
You have to specify.
