New CPU Cooler [Archive]

Just installed my new cpu cooler : North Q Red Devil. I replaced my North q Blue cpu cooler. Thought the red would go well with the case and other fans. Also installed a couple of led lights to set the theme off.

Getting some better pics together and some temperature benchmarks once the thermal paste has run in abit. Currently idle temps are 35 and load 43 which isnt bad....

A little bright for my tastes.

Haven't seen such a tiny CPU cooler in a while :p I'm rather used to my massive towers.

I thought you were selling that rig though and getting a new one...

Im gonna keep it . Figured it will be useful having two computers. I will have to wait a while longer until i get a new comp though....

Owen, just out of curiosity, why did you go with that cooler? Price? Performance? Never really heard of them before ... :confused:

I think its the clone of Zalman's heatsink. Had couple of 'look-alikes'/alternatives to zalman sold here. Later i'd take a picture and post it here :p

its from North Q. As if youv'e never heard of them!:p I had the same model previously , but that was blue. the performance was pretty awesome.

i used the wrong apeture settings on my camera , thats why they may look abit over saturated. I'm not much for the huge tuniq coolers and the like. Size isnt everything :p
