Yes, I was bored, so I thought I'd take a few pictures of my bike. But I ended up whipping up one of those inspirational style pictures. Didn't turn out as well as I would have hoped, but yes that is snow in that picture. Winter time blues lol.

Where you live? I'm going riding tomorrow (60°). I would have went today but it was raining.

My dad just got a 1983 Honda Interceptor VF750F. And here in Toronto, it's still snowy and cold. Tomorrow it's going to be rain.
The bike isn't even road ready yet. It's inside our storage unit and he's been working on it there (probably against the rules).
I'm sure he's feeling just like you, if not worse, since there's barely any room to work in the storage unit and I'm sure he'd love to ride it, or at least get it home to work on.

OH quit *****ing. I have to pay huge electric bills to get that kind of pleasure. I mean it was 90 some F here today for most of the day. Hell its still probably 80 degrees outside right now in the middle of the night.
With this heat I have to worry about my videocard every time I game, and overclocking is out of the question.

I figured that to be the so called "warmer" side of Canada. Being your right there near Seattle Washington, the rainy ass state.

Oh that's just dreadful. :p I'm saving about $600 a month not having it on the road lol

This is the warmer part at the moment. Up north and east it gets about 40 below. I should be saving money not having the bike on the road, but I'm spending it elsewhere. Christmas took a little bit out. Had to buy a suit and some work clothes the other day. Got a couple weddings to go to soon. I needed some good dress clothes. But you guys should be feeling sorry for me. My alcohol budget has been severly reducedlol. Good thing I still live at home.

LOL ... Hey I know that area pretty well as I have used that Trans-Canada Highway a number of times ... I make a left though on Route 11 and down to Sumas to cross the border ... into the rainy-ass state of Washington ... :D

Haha as always, Nova, you make a compelling argument.

Can you wait till spring?

Probably about 35-40mpg. But that all depends on how you ride. I've gone through 3 fill ups in a day and I wasn't out riding all day either :) Going full throttle all the time then going in the city sure sucks up the gas.

I get more like 50-60 on mine... 180 miles on one 3 gallon tank
It's 68° out right now and sunny! Can't wait for lunch to come around so I can take the bike out!

Guys modify those things to go over 120 miles per hour ... Go over to this website Tesoro Iron Dog (http://www.irondog.org/) and you'll find out what some guys do just because they can!! It's the extreme ... :D
holy crap. 120mph over snow! thats fast.

I have been on one and it got up to 70 MPH before I even knew it ... yea, they're fast all right, and I have seen some guys crippled for life because they didn't know WTF they were doing ... just like a motorcycle ... got to be careful and you have to know what you're doing ... :-0)

Yup, quite lucky to live and talk about it ... but that's really nothing compared to the time I had to jump out of a moving 747 that was about to crash into another 747 that was parked ... now that's another story for another thread ... :D

Sounds like someone does the speed limit most of the time :teeth:

I got all of my shenanigans out of me at a younger age before I bought my bike.

About 2 weeks ago I was driving to work and a motorcyclist came flying by me and weaving around cars. I would guess at least 100MPH. There was a Cop car sitting on the side of the road and he never budged.
I'm sure he thought "whats the use".

There are old riders, and there are bold riders. But there is no old/bold riders... (with the exception of AKHandyman)

At times like this I ask, what is the point of the 15 character limit?

Stephen King wouldn't be the author for your autobiography ... you're thinking of the guys who wrote the Old Testament, right? :D
