Well, after buying just about all the goodies I wanted....I mean , needed for my PC, funds are not as of an abundance as they once were.
My stash is down to about $300-350.
But where to throw it all away...
I need the headphones so there goes $120
I want a Raptor...or
I want either another 8800GT or if SLI is worthless and a waste, I may get the 8800GTS 512mb if its worth the upgrade and sell the 8800GT.
What brand 8800GT do you have? If it's a BFG, we can talk.

LOL. stash? Does it really get that bad when your married? Have you really resorted to hiding your money from her!!!
Dok, being as your a fellow pcstats member i could do something on my 8800 GTS if your interested. I know its not 8800 GT your looking for but still a bargain. The only thing that is concerning me is the carriage costs.
If noones interested i may keep it. Its basically been used for a month. Someone was selling GTX so i bought that but the performance increase wasnt massive. But i figured that i have a new 8800 gts boxed so may as well sell that and try to free up some money instead of it selling a used GTX.
Truth be told, I wouldn't have any need for it. It is a fantastic price, though. If you haven't already, you should update the price in the original post. Someone is bound to want it.
If nothing else, you always have eBay.

We all do it. Yes, it gets that bad.
"Why do you need another one, we already have 3 of them."
"Don't you think we could use that money for those new counter tops?"
"Sure, you can buy that, it's not like we really need to send our son to college."
It's easier just to not hear it.

You young'uns ... there's the line that "Hell knows no fury like a woman scorned" ... well, that ain't nothing compared to "You spent more money on computer parts?!" Just imagine that line coming from a screeching banshee! I can't tell you the countless number of times that I have resorted to hiding what I buy in my relentless pursuit of computer nirvana ... just yesterday I received my sound card from my good buddy Comixion in the mail, however, I was on my way to pickup the wife from work when I stopped in the Post Office ... the package was there, but what to do? I couldn't pick up the wife with the package in the car, she would want to know what it was (BTW, Comixion, thanks for shipping it in a box that BIG! ... :p ) so I turned around and went home and hid the box in amongst other boxes of stuff and went back to pick her up. She never knew, but it was a close one ... :scared:

Man, your crazy,,,but I would have done the exact same thing. I would have had to.
It may have been a big box but all those foam peanuts is what saved it from the postman stomping all over it and/or using it as a hockey puck on that frozen tundra of yours up there.
